RETURN OF EVACUATED COLLECTIONS — WRENFIELD MUSEUM — 2nd April 1946
Case IV. Seals examined before opening and found entire, both hasps, the impression clear. Tape unbroken. Box opened in the presence of the undersigned.
Twelve trays. Coins counted twice, once by Mr Redfern reading from the Schedule and once by Miss Beddoes reading from the trays, and the count agreed at three hundred and twelve.
Condition: no coin exhibiting damage attributable to the removal. Some tarnish, general, consistent with six years in a closed box.
We certify the Netherbourne Hoard returned entire, no coin wanting.
