L-DECK MASS SURVEY — TETHYS RELAY — WINTER 2189

Kept by S. Park, deck-2 steward, in the back of the cargo-bay weight log. Pencil throughout. Weekly survey against the calibrated bay scales, Tuesdays after second watch. The official station record on lifeboat masses is the servicing summary at Annex A of the retrieval intake (day 43); this is the parallel book Park kept against it.

Beside the day-21 row, in Park's hand:

The Director instructed me on day 22 that the bay scales had been drifting and the Tuesday survey would no longer be kept against Annex A. The deck book is mine to answer. I have answered it Tuesday since day 14 of winter 2188 and I will answer it Tuesday now.

Beside the same row, in a different hand, blue pencil, undated:

L-3 not to be opened. seal authority mine. — IV

At the bottom of the page, in Park's hand:

The lifeboat at L-3 is forty-eight point six kilograms heavier than the last time it was serviced. The Director has the keys. I keep the column.
