  "confirmation": "Confirmed. Caterina Venier received the colombina at her own hand at the dinner of 14 February 1484, set it upon the table beside her own plate, and did not return it. By her marginal in her Book of Hours of 19 March 1485 she had not given it back; by 1497 it was in the small painted box behind the rosaries in the wall-cabinet of the oratorio at the back of the piano nobile. Her daughter Bianca, finding the prayer-book three days after Caterina's death, left the colombina where it was."
