Lowbridge Station Hotel register and wake-call slate, 16 October 1912

Register leaf, evening arrivals:

Room 6 - Jonas Pell, commercial traveller, one night. Asked to be called at the first public eight o'clock bell for the north mail connection.

Room 9 - Ruth Larkin, millinery samples. Supper sent up after the public bell; no call ordered.

Desk slate, copied by E. Keene before washing:

Pell, 6 - knock when station bell gives eight. Done. Gentleman left by side stair with brown valise.

Larkin, 9 - tea tray held until after bell. Sent 8:05 by lobby clock.

Porter note:

I made the Room 6 call on the station bell, not on the telegraph clock. The lobby clock was still being set right.
