Morrow Watch and Key ledger, 16 October 1912

Counter book entry copied by C. Morrow, journeyman.

A. Venn, Lowbridge Junction time-room: one No. 3 ward key cut from station board pattern; one narrow square driver dressed to fit clock-striker stop screw.

Customer stated railway stores had not supplied a spare and that evening lamp access must not wait on the fitter.

Tested against brass striker cover and returned wrapped in brown paper at 7:05 p.m. Paid cash, four shillings sixpence.

Margin note:

Porter M. Orr asked whether the same driver would loosen the west bell check without lifting the whole cover. Told him yes, if the wire seal was already broken.
