North Quay Stores salt-room inventory, 12 February 1908
Inventory sheet for Salt Room No. 3, east wall rack and lower bins, copied by L. Ward before the Friday weigh-out.
Bay salt, sealed barrels: 48. Chalk weights intact on all heads. No slack hoops except barrel 17, tagged for cooper.
Fine salt, blue sacks: 112. Dry sample taken from sacks 4, 39, and 88; grains fall clean through brass measure.
Rock salt, lower bin: 19 hundredweight by beam scale. Sill board swept. No water line on south wall.
Roof drip over west lamp repaired 10 February by yard carpenter; no standing damp after noon inspection.
O. Pike to rehoop barrel 17 and return the old head for tally mark comparison.
