Adelphi Rooms wardrobe repair tag, blue cloak, 3 May 1909

Wardrobe repair counterfoil for The Painted Trapdoor, pinned to the blue Cressida cloak after the Saturday benefit performance.

Garment: Miss I. Lark's blue cloak, hooded, silver clasp, Act IV tableau. Lower hem caught on terrace hinge cloth during supper change; right clasp thread loosened.

Alteration before final call:

Take in left shoulder one pin for P. Vale. Keep hood forward. Do not remove Miss Lark's name tape before return to rail.

Dresser's note, signed Mara Beale:

The cloak left the wardrobe rail for the first bow on a smaller shoulder and returned after second curtain. I saw P. Vale at the rail before the call and the hood pin still bent after.

No charge entered to Miss Lark until Mr. Bentham says whether this is to be copied into the clean wardrobe book.
