Bench ticket tied to cylinder No. 14 with white thread.
Received from cabinet B: amber wax cylinder No. 14, sleeve marked west alcove take.
Reported fault:
Needle jumps after bar 32. Reece says guests heard scraping and the practice take should not be used for comparison.
Bench inspection, M. Voss:
Groove dust at the jump point cleaned with soft cloth. Surface shows a narrow raised line across two turns after the chair reset. The line catches the needle before the final repeat.
Action:
Do not shave. Keep on bench until steward decides whether it returns to the cabinet or stays with repair stock.
