Salon manager's repair memo, 15 February 1912
Memo from Reece Fenn to the Merrow Salon steward's desk, copied beside the repair ledger entry.
Cylinder No. 14:
Treat as a needle-jump repair, not a programme matter. Do not send the shorthand page with the public recital packet. Mr. Ardent's timings are for staff correction only.
The sleeve may stay with practice papers until drawer B is checked again. If Miss Ryn asks about the west alcove title, say only that the salon keeps practice sleeves by room, not by performer.
Do not call Miss Ryn to the bench. Marta Voss has already marked the raised line, and further handling will invite questions about why the sleeve and cylinder were apart.
Close the ticket once the cabinet tag and sleeve agree with ordinary filing.
