Receipt from Chalmers bindery for a small plain-cover job collected from Fen & Ivers.
Received from L. Ivers:
- outer leaves A and C, twelve sets;
- two parcels marked B, one blue tie and one brown tie;
- gray covers, no gilt, no outside title.
Instruction written on the receipt stub:
Plain wire stitch. Finish before Sunday table. If the middle parcels differ, set the blue-tied B first and leave the brown-tied parcel in the shop drawer.

Express charge paid by L.I. at 7:10 p.m. Work opened at once.

Six booklets completed before supper; six after. One blue-tied B sheet lacked a page number after trimming.
