Studio waste ledger and cash chit
Waste ledger page from Vane Photographic Rooms, same Tuesday.
Starting stock: 24 cabinet plates.
Usable negatives at close: 22.
Waste:
- one plate cracked in washing tray, discarded;
- one plate fogged under safelight, no print, entered as destroyed.
Stock check by apprentice column is blank.
Proprietor's correction:
Do not count no. 17 twice. Sleeve remains in drawer until Mr. Orser settles.
Loose cash chit tucked into the page:
L.O. retainer, right-edge cleaning, to Pell. Do not enter in studio account.
Later pencil by the office shelf:
If no. 17 was destroyed, the sleeve should not be in drawer B and Pell should not have returned glass wrapped in it.
