Postcard from Ada Tolliver to the Northgate parcel office, written in a small hand and never copied into the claim book.
Sir,
I came to window 3 on Monday morning with the notice card for my registered parcel and was told there was no parcel under my name. The clerk said the window had only ordinary returned letters and that I should wait for a second card.
My sister sent the insured packet from Larkspur Street with the blue ribbon still tied under the string. It was not a commercial sample and should not have gone to any quarterly sale.
Please return the packet or tell me whose hand signed it out.
