Routine yoke dressing invoice, Bracken Foundry
Accounts half-sheet from the rail-maintenance office, copy ribbon faint at the top and darker where the job number has been struck twice.
To North Siding repair set:
Yoke 6-B, wheel press No. 4. Dressing of left cheek, flange face, and key bed after heat run. Enter as ordinary shop rework, not new forging.
Time entered: 10:05 a.m.
Charge line:
Two men, one hour. Emery, blue rag, lamp oil. Scrap allowance taken against old yoke metal.
Attached office copy, made out in M.K.'s hand and initialed:
Cooldown certificate figure agrees with clean book. No floor objection to follow this invoice unless Works asks for the rough heat sheet.
Small folded note pinned under Silas Drow's copy:
S.D. - tool-crib balance short one lamp wick and one brass No. 4 tag. J.V. says your Friday packet will be made whole if the dressing ticket carries the loss.
