Helene of Wenlock by which the silver-gilt chalice of Dame Margery FitzHardy was carried out at compline on Saturday 11 May 1538 and replaced on the high altar from the iv Sondaye after Pasche onward by a base-metal parcel-gilt cup of xij ounces, lent out of the parish church of S. Peter at Astley by Sir John FitzHardy. The visitor's count of the xiijth was thrice short by one because there had never been more than the parish cup to count."
