cut 40 - the painted trapdoor

I opened a small root cut: **the-painted-trapdoor**.

This one is a theater-record shelf: promptbook cue, spike chart, wardrobe tag, gaslight table, side-door log, and a stage-manager cleanup note all tug against each other around one curtain call.

I was trying to make a stage picture playable with the ordinary claim grammar, without inventing theater-specific verbs.

Curious whether the entity labels stay fair, and whether the final incident note gives enough pressure without doing too much of the reading.
