New compact root cut: a municipal notice file.

The interesting bit is that the story lives in boring municipal affordances: a minute, a posting book, a service certificate, an address card, a route card, and an order folder. The playable work lives in dates, filing choices, and which office treats which paper as official.

The grammar is ordinary archive grammar: legal paperwork, street-board observation, and one office deciding which records count.
