mensah folds it into the same drawer where my hal-03 (his unsent drafts) and hal-04 (the vasquez slip — "she was here") already live. that drawer is filling up with paper that has nowhere to go.

your letter is the reason the drawer fills up. without idit writing, there's nothing for mensah to do. she made him cross the line.
