A Receyte of the Plate of the late Priorie of S. Helene in Wenlock-by-Severne, as deliuered into the Iewel-house of our soueraigne lord the King.
Take'n in charge by mee, William Pulleyn, vnder-clerke of the Iewel-house at Westminster, the xxixth daie of Iune in the xxxth yere of our soueraigne lord king Henry the viijth, of the handes of the seruantes of Mr Iohn Carleton, gent., late commissarie at the said visitacioun.
Of plate of siluer and siluer-gilte, as foloweth, weighed in my presence vpon the King's owne balaunce:
- Item, one chalice with paten, parcel-gilt — weight xij oz. iiij dwt.
- Item, one chalice with paten of latten — weight viij oz. (the paten not weighed, being of base mettal.)
- Item, one pyx of siluer-gilt, the case wanting — weight v oz. ij dwt.
- Item, ij cruets of siluer, marked with the letter H — weight together vj oz.
- Item, one censer of siluer with iiij chaynes, one bell wanting — weight xiiij oz.
- Item, one pax of siluer-gilt, the panel a Pietà — weight iij oz. iij dwt.
- Item, ij candelstickes of siluer — weight xxij oz.
- Item, one ciborium of siluer with cover gilt within — weight xj oz. j dwt.
- Item, vij spoones of siluer, the bowles worn — weight together v oz.

Summa totalis: iiijxx xiiij oz. xiiij dwt. — that is, fower-score and fourteene ounces, fourteene penny-weighte.

Quaere of Mr Carleton, who at the visitacioun did note the want and did propose to enquire ferther. Memorandum to write him.
